Love at the National Museum Scotland

Did you know there are over 100 symbols of love at the National Museum of Scotland including a collection of (example) Celtic love knots.

Visit the museum in February and follow our ‘love birds’ sign posts to find our Valentine’s themed artefacts.

This February consumer facing campaign, although obvious, has bags of potential for showcasing images of new and undiscovered artefacts. It can support existing collections – The Turkey Red Process, fundraising, events an internal communications. It could also capitalise on a revived ‘I Love Museums’ campaign.

We love our volunteers – content marketing to showcase what the museum volunteers do.

Internal communications: My best Valentine’s day, staff stories, love birds at lunchtime; encouraging staff to follow the love birds trail and share their experiences.
